​Deadly Places - Jinibara Country (day visit) Prep-year 2

Come and experience Jinibara country, soak it up. This day visit program focusses on an appreciation of all things Jinibara, the place, the country, the people and the culture. depending on your timing Your students will have the opportunity to play tribal games, taste bushfood, hear stories and learn language.

General Capabilities: Personal and Social Capability are covered within this program.

Cross Curricular Priorities: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures are covered in this program.

Your Stanley River Environmental Education Centre teacher will be in contact to plan a comprehensive curriculum map which suits the learning opportunities you wish to connect with.

Logistical considerations

Season: Term 2 Weeks 7-9, Term 3 Weeks 6 and 7.

Program Hours hours: 9am-3pm.

Stanley River Environmental Education Centre can cater up to three class groups (72 students).​
