Adventurous Journeys
The Duke of Edinburgh's adventurous journey section encourages a sense of adventure and discovery whilst undertaking a team expedition. As part of a small team, participants plan, train for, practice and undertake an expedition or and exploration journey.
Participation in our journeys is open to Individuals, School Award Unit Groups and Community Award unit groups.
Bronze/Bridge Journeys in 2024 (Practice or Qualifying Journey)

- Apply for a journey by completing the Adventurous Journey - Expression of Interest form below.
- Individual Expression of Interest application
- Group Expression of Interest application (Award Leader to complete)
- You will receive a confirmation Stanley River EEC.
- Compete the Stanley river EEC Duke of edinburgh student forms and email to doe@stanleyrivereec.eq.edu.au
- If you are an Award Leader bringing a group of students please collate all of the of the participant Stanley river EEC Duke of edinburgh student forms and Adult forms the completed group list form
- Stanley River EEC will then be in touch to get you started on your journey planning.
Please be aware Journeys will only go ahead if the required minimum number of applicants is reached, and places are allocated in a first in first served bases. Please keep an eye on this page as we will update it as we schedule new dates.
