As part of our commitment to sustainability we have transported old buildings to our site for re-use. The bunkhouses were originally army barracks from Wacol and have been modified to allow wheelchair access. We have two dormitory style bunkhouses featuring double bunks. Each bunkhouse sleeps up to 20. Our bunkhouses are cooled using an environmentally friendly energy efficient system. Between the two bunkhouses is the amenities block with wheelchair access, showers and toilets. The toilets are modern composting types which are cleaned every day. This type of toilet was selected for its minimal impact on the environment. The reduction in our water usage helps to reduce our ecological footprint.
