In this section, you will find out information about our accommodation, dining facilities, buildings and classrooms, Somerset Dam and camping.  Stanley River EEC uses a range of measures to reduce our ecological footprint in the areas of waste, water and power.


Our equipment includes:

  • 2 food preparation areas including stoves, fridges, freezer & microwave 
  • All cooking and kitchen utensils/equipment
  • plates, bowls, cups and cutlery (students to BYO for camp-out night)
  • indoor and outdoor dining areas
  • gas barbecue
  • area for campfires
  • composting toilets
  • hot showers
  • bunks for 40 people   
  • reference library
  • display room (local habitats, pioneering, conservation)
  • indoor wet weather area with data projector for slides, talks, activities.
